Transfer a Phone
I acknowledge that Jibfou has advised me that:
- Although I have the right to transfer this phone number to Jibfou, there may be costs and obligations associated with my existing phone service and with porting my phone number
- I may or may not have an existing contract with my existing serviced provider, and
- Such contract may or may not include an obligation to make early termination payments to my current phone service provider.
- If you want Jibfou to port-in your existing home phone, Do not cancel with your provider.
- Make sure that your home phone service is not blocked or suspended by your provider due to Non-payment or other reasons.
- There may be a porting fee of $20.00.
- By transferring this number to Jibfou, you are entering into a new contract with us.
- If you agree to this transfer, we will need a copy of your bill/invoice from your provider and we will speak to your existing service provider to confirm your request. We won’t be able to complete the transfer if it’s not confirmed. If we run into any issues, we’ll call you on the number you have provided. Once it’s confirmed, we will initiate the transfer. The process may take 5 to 10 business days. We’ll let you know when the transfer is completed and that you can start using your new service.
- When transfer is completed please contact your previous provider to stop charging you the transferred service.
